About Maureen

Maureen is a Brooklyn-based movement teacher with over 500 hours of certified study. Her teaching seamlessly weaves practical theory and anatomical precision with playful imagery and metaphor, creating a practice that’s both intelligent and joy-filled.

Blending low-impact strength, mobility, and flexibility training with breathwork and meditation, Maureen’s classes build functional resilience from the inside out. Her work draws deeply from Nevine Michaan’s Katonah Yoga theory, restorative yoga, and both Classical and Contemporary Mat Pilates - longside her ongoing exploration of muscular and fascial release techniques for renewal and longevity.

Deeply intuitive and attuned to all bodies and experience levels, Maureen leads with empathy, curiosity, and inclusion. Her greatest skill lies in empowering students to cultivate their own toolkit for strength, stability, and structure - on and off the mat.
